Arguably one of the most popular and well-known characters in the Star Wars phenomenon, Yoda is the Grand Jedi Master and was stronger than most in his connection with the Force. Small in size, but wise and powerful, he trained as a Jedi for over 800 years. Appearing first in The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda taught Luke Skywalker as a Jedi and imparted some of the greatest wisdom of all. Calm, serene, green and with large ears Yoda is said to have lived to 900 years of age. He can be seen in many Lucas Film and Disney episodes of Star Wars, including The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), Revenge of the Sith (2005), The Clone Wars (2008), Star Wars: Rebels (2014), The Force Awakens (2015), Rogue One (2016) and The last Jedi (2017).
